Hi all, right now I have an instance of Display where I draw some images and plot some feature points on it. I need to place some buttons, textfields and textlabels using pygame or tkinker. Please help and guide me with a simple example. These GUI can be in the same Display window or some other window both acceptable. This is quite in a hurry situation. Need help. Thank you!!!

Hey, I haven't tried this using pygame or tkinter. I have done this using gtk. I hope this is helpful.

@xamox Yes but how can I add buttons or labels to my Display? I've tried to do: label = gtk.Label("LABELLABEL") .... #some image on the display

....,False,False,0) But it doesnt seem to work:/

I'm a little confused, are you trying to build a gtk program or tk? If GTK take a look at the gtk example camera program in the examples folder, it has a slider that updates the threshold of the edge detection. see:

Ive created some independet tkinter app but how to sync my app and the main one? Or with gtk will it be easier just to embed the ui inside the display? Thanks in advance.

You could always extend the main display class with the added functionality with your own class that has buttons, etc. You may want to ask on the pygame forums, GUI building is a little outside the scope of the SimpleCV project.
