Hi all, Since I'm a beginner, please guide me with the following application: The thing is that I'm working on a stereo project. I have two images, from left and right eyes.

  • First: I must display them side by side.
  • Second: I will track any mouse click event on any of these images. Then extract the point and mark its location on the other image (Since left and right views have an intersection, clicked pixel is most likely to be on the other view may be with a little offset/shift). I may use sift features or any other similar method offered in SimpleCV.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you very much. That was useful. sideBySide is done. For my second question, how can I extract the custom keyPoint (where I clicked) on the other image using these featureSet algorithms (SURF, SIFT etc)? In left view I click on a persons hand and I want to detect the hand in right view

Yeah I noticed that your implementation exactly does this. However what i wanna do is quite different. Considering the example in the video: when I click on the nose of the sculpture, I wanna mark the exact same location on the second view:)
