Code Completion with Eclipse

I recently managed to get SimpleCV up and running, after running into some issues. I now have a working SimpleCV installed and am using it with Eclipse Indigo. However, all my imports from SimpleCV are marked in red, and Eclipse states that it cannot find the specified import (even though the imported functions work fine).

Is there any way to have Eclipse recognize the imports from SimpleCV, so that I can make use of its Ctrl-Space code-complete functionality?

I tried to add "SimpleCV" to the Forced Builtins, but with no success. (This is what I did when I had the same problem for OpenCV, and it worked then)

Thanks for any advice!

I highly recommend taking a look at IPython notebook's. We wrapper IPython at the moment so it integrates very well. It has the code complete as well as inline documentation. It's a little different to write code in but after you get used to it, it makes sense why you would use it over say an editor. I also understand that editors offer other features such as find/replace across multiple files, etc. We have an developer in house that has moved from eclipse to geany and actually likes it quite a bit, plus it is much more lightweight in terms of loading (although almost all the same functionality is there as eclipse).

Unfortunately none of the primary SimpleCV developers use eclipse. We all use vi, emacs, and geany. My guess is that eclipse is looking for your file. If you find a solution (perhaps on the eclipse forum) please let us know.
