Has anyone managed to come up with a working installation on Yosemite (10.10.1)? I've tried following the installation guide in the super pack README and also the guide for Mountain Lion (10.8.3) but to no avail.

Initially I was getting a segfault from pygame when importing SimpleCV as discussed in this question, but managed to fix that by reinstalling some of the dependencies. After fixing that, I couldn't get any of the tracking stuff (examples or Image.track) to work, because OpenCV's calcHist function was throwing the error discussed here. In the process of trying to fix this I seem to have broken my installation completely.

So, the question is: what's the best way to nuke my installation without reinstalling the whole OS, and once I've done that, what versions of dependencies should I install so that SimpleCV works properly on my system?

Is this the same issue you faced? hope to find a workaround.

from SimpleCV import Shell Traceback (most recent call last): File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module> File "SimpleCV/init.py", line 3, in <module> from SimpleCV.base import * File "SimpleCV/base.py", line 21, in <module> import pygame as pg ImportError: No module named pygame
