OpenCV dependency of SimpleCV requires cv2.so to be located on appengine server, but this is not the case, one can't also deploy such library to the server as well. You could work with a python module, which doesn't exist on the appengine server, for your code and deploy all of them to get the code running but this doesn't work for a C++ library such as OpenCV.

Btw, I also tried to work with SimpleCV on appengine platform, but it didn't work as expected.

I'm sure it can not.

AppEngine does not allow C extensions, which SimpleCV has in dependencies.

I have not tested it but my guess is probably not. It requires a lot of external libraries that you probably can't install on google's servers. I have never used Google App engine but from glance it looks very similar to Heroku which basically requires you to run everything out of a virtualenv.

TLDR; NO
