Building the latest SimpleCV in Windows (Win7, 64-bit)

I've cloned the source on my system and have installed all dependencies.

Since I just want to install SimpleCV (and not build the installer) I just ran:

pip install SimpleCV-develop.zip

in a command prompt. It said it installed fine, but when I try to use new functions like 'Image.getLineScan()' it comes up with "Image has no attribute getLineScan".

To be honest, I'm not sure if I'm doing the right thing at all. This is what I understood was to be done after reading the readmes and install.bat.

Any pointers?

From the ipython shell can you import simplecv? What happens when you do this. Sounds like you are defaulting to PIL images.

You have to run setup.py for it to work. In CMD, cd to src directory and type in:

setup.py install

and you should be good to go.
